What color wedding shoes?

I am considering wearing a red shoes to my wedding. My dress i full white with small red decorations and my jewelry is red. My husband will be in a white suite with a red inside vest. The theme of the wedding is red %26amp; white. My wedding will not be in a church, I am a liberal person. What do you think about the red shoes base on what I said?

As long as they are not so prominent as to detract from your dress or the ceremony itself, I say, go for it! We%26#039;re in a modern age and the old edicts about red shoes being evil (Brother Grimm, thanks!) or too sexualized for church have disappeared. It%26#039;s your wedding and you should have free rein to make it truly personalized. Heck, one of my friend wore delicate tangerine colored shoes at her wedding.

Reply:I%26#039;d still go with white shoes as to not take away from the dress. I%26#039;m guessing you spent some money on it, that should be the focal point...not the shoes or ground level. It%26#039;s just my opinon though. Thanx for asking. I hope you have a wonderful wedding either way!
Reply:red shoes are quite an unconventional color for wedding shoes but if you like them enough and they will go with your dress then maybe you can pull it off.
Reply:well as long as the red shoes do not detract from the dress %26amp; are not to bright then they should be ok, but I would wear white shoes so not to take away from the dress.
