Reply:this may sound corny or even cheap...but look at some of the bridesmaids dresses..in white...I wanted a dress that was elegant yet not too frilly not too poofy...so I found a bridesmaids dress that was very simple, strappless and only cost me $140.00...

I used them for my wedding after seeing them at an expo in Sydney %26amp; they worked within our budget (which wasnt very much) %26amp; they were still very elegant, these guys also organise the whole event for you but I%26#039;m not sure what the cost of this would be.
Reply:find small wedding boutiques and stores as far as the dress goes, my cousin got a great deal on a gorgeous gown from a smaller family owned place rather than going to a large chain. as far as decorations and all that I would just look online for wedding sites that are australian, i am sure you could find some good deals that way. go to google and just search for australian weddings. i found a couple that look like they might be of help. good luck and happy planning!

If you can get to Neutral Bay in Sydney then there%26#039;s a shop halfway up Military Road that has get off the peg evening dresses. If you%26#039;re not in Sydney then go to http://www.bridetobe.com.au they have listing and pics for stores on there.
