Anyone else got a superstitious dad?

My dad won%26#039;t cross on the stairs, won%26#039;t open umbrellas in the house, won%26#039;t put shoes on the table (even if they%26#039;re in a box), won%26#039;t wear the colour green, is very worried about breaking mirrors, won%26#039;t eat meat on Good Friday (even though he never bothers with church) and has to have the Xmas decorations down by %26#039;twelfth night%26#039; even if it kills him. He also insists on windows being closed even in the height of summer in case a bird gets in the house, which is bad too. He also has to enter the house by the door he originally left from. Failure to observe these superstitions makes him mad. My mum follows none of these superstitions. Anyone else with a superstitious dad?

Yep, mine is exactly the same! Hes the most chilled out bloke ever, but im not alowed to put keys on a table or open an umbrella inside either, oh and mine was funny about getting me a green car..sure theres more of them too, keep coming across them!..Glad to know that its not just mine that%26#039;s a bit on the strange side!
Reply:yes, he always has to take 2 or more rolls of toilet paper with him into the crapper, everytime he wants to walk into a building he has to take a leak in it, and everytime he passes a cop he has to flip them the bird - I won%26#039;t even tell you what he does when he goes into a mcdonalds
Reply:yea if we are about to cross on the stairs he walks all the way back down just not to cross and at the train station he trys to find any possible way not to have to cross on the stairs its rediculous lol
Reply:he used to be until, instead of walking under a ladder walked onto the road to avoid it and was killed outright by a drunken maniac in a mobility scooter. oh how we laughed

Reply:Yes that IS OCD i bet he%26#039;s a bundle of joy!! seriously have a chat with the doc he might be able to check this for you/ most of us have this but that is excessive. Good Luck to you
