My wedding is next Saturday the 3rd, is there anything else I need to do??

The rings are back from being sized, the dress is altered, I have my shoes, veil, tiara, jewelry... The catering has been ordered, the tuxes have been ordered to be picked up the day before. The decorations are all bought, we have a preacher, our church, our cruise passes, our toasting glasses, bridal party gifts and dresses, unity candles, hair appointments.... Am I forgetting anything? We are having a beautiful simple wedding.

My wedding is next Saturday the 3rd, is there anything else I need to do??
Relax and enjoy the process .... go get a massage - it really helps with the nerves. Don%26#039;t forget about tips. Put your tip money aside so you don%26#039;t spend it. Usually people tip the band, cater, and wedding planner.

Good Luck and Have Fun!!
Reply:Do you have your passports for the cruise? You need to have those nowdays.
Reply:It sounds like you have it all together...few tips though...

1. Make a list of all the pictures you want taken and who should be in them and give that to your photographer...that way you don%26#039;t have to think about that on your big day or worse think about it 2 weeks later....

2. Remember to have someone to take the presents from the reception home....we forgot that person..haha :)

3. Relax...like someone said earlier get your nails and toes done and spend the day before your wedding with your girlfriends....they will calm you down....

4. Alcohol....this might sound CRAZY...but a little wine or whatever...nothing too drastic though...when you are getting your hair and make-up done that morning will calm you down sooooo much! I said I was not drinking before my wedding...my god i was so nervous I couldn%26#039;t even speak....2 glasses of wine later I was good as gold!

GOOD LUCK!!!!!!
Reply:Confirm everything, dates, times, locations, etc. If you%26#039;ve done that, then congratulate yourself, sit back, relax, go get your manicure and pedicure, get a massage (not a facial!), and just enjoy it! Congratulations!
Reply:Relax and enjoy yor special day. Good Luck to the both of you.
Reply:Relax, take a deep breath, and make sure you%26#039;ve got everything delegated - ask different people to be in charge of different things on the day so that you can enjoy it and not be stressed. Good luck and congrats!
Reply:You just need to sit down and RELAX!!!! I%26#039;m sure your wedding will be beautiful and memorable.
Reply:Your%26#039;re getting married the same day as me. I%26#039;m making final arrangements too.

Good luck xoxox

Edit - Thank you. I would try and give you some advice but I guess we%26#039;re in the same boat. Enjoy your day!
Reply:Make sure you pack your bags in advance and buy something really cute to wear on a special night for your trip and have fun. Relax!! Don%26#039;t let the day get away from you too fast, that always seems to happen. Don%26#039;t let anyone stress you out. What ever or who ever shows up does and what doesn%26#039;t, doesn%26#039;t simple as that. Once that day is there you have no control over how it will go on. So have a wonderful time, and best wishes!!!!
Reply:Cake knife %26amp; server (if the caterer is not providing them - plates and knifes for the cake)

Champagne for toasting

Food for the %26#039;getting ready%26#039; part - please don%26#039;t forget to eat!

Flowers

An emergency kit - safety pins, needle and thread, aspirin, powder (like baby powder if your dress begins to irritate), hair pins, hairspray, bandaids, tampon/pad, clear nail polish for hose runs, nail clippers, hand lotion, etc.- be sure your bridesmaids know where this is in case you need them to get it for you.

Spare pair of shoes

List of who gets flowers for ushers/florist

One thing my husband did that to this day I tease him about, but it really was a great help, was to put an agenda down on paper - more like a time line - so that you know how long you need for everything you want to do and when it needs to be done. It will also let you know if you don%26#039;t have time to %26#039;fit in%26#039; something and it needs to be deleted or moved to another time slot. There were sections of ours that were plotted out by minutes! It%26#039;s not necessarily something you%26#039;ll stick to, but it%26#039;s good to actually see it on paper to give you an idea of the whole picture.

Good Luck and Enjoy Yourself!
Reply:not at all!

i guess your wedding is going to be perfect.

but the most important thing is happiness.

so cheer up and dont worry everything will be fine!

by the way......

WISH YOU A VERY VERY HAPPY MARRIED LIFE AHEAD!!!
Reply:Flowers? Marriage license? Rehearsal dinner?
Reply:Its too late to worry. You%26#039;ve done the planning. You%26#039;ve got the pieces together, sit back, relax and enjoy.

Stuff will go wrong. Thats ok. There%26#039;s never been a perfect ceremony ever. And if there was, nobody remembers. Someone will flub a line, or a candle will go out, or someone will trip, but its ok. Someone will have too much to drink(even if you don%26#039;t serve alcohol). And it will be ok.
Reply:There is one thing you need to do: BREATHE!

That and try to relax: everything will be fine. And even if some things don%26#039;t go quite according to plan, no one else will notice because they will be having too much fun.

Your day will go by so fast, try to take in as much as you can, and BREATHE!!!! ;-)
Reply:RUN !! RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN !!
Reply:Congratulations! With a simple ceremony like your going to have did you consider having your marriage certificate signed after you light the unity candles? We did with a big feather pen, it adds to the wedding ceremony beautifully.

Relax it will be over in a blink of an eye.

You lucky dog ,I wish I was going on a cruise!
Reply:Get your purse ready (likely for a bridesmaid to carry). Put in things like lipstick, needle and thread, bobby pins.
Reply:Don%26#039;t worry; we all forget something. All the trimmings are superficial; it%26#039;s the union that counts. Congratulations. God bless.
Reply:your done. as long as you have a photogrpaher cuz I didnt see one.
Reply:dont worry about it. Sounds like u have everything covered. Just sit back and enjoy as much as u can.
Reply:relax

it goes by very quickly

enjoy the day, everything is in place, don%26#039;t worry about anything else.
Reply:Do you have a DJ/Band??
Reply:Flowers??? Your bouquet and/or Bible?

If those are taken care of, you need to stop worrying and make time for yourself this week. Go get a massage, work out, whatever relaxes you. Remember that this is YOUR day and you should have fun! Go out to lunch with your gal pals this week, take a long drive, etc. Pay some special attention to your family and, in particular, your parents. They will bless you for that. Let them know you believe you%26#039;ve made the right decision as to your beloved and they don%26#039;t have to worry about you in that regard. Give them both big hugs for raising a daughter who was able to make this decision for her life. GOOD LUCK!
